Alimiyyah Course
The Alimiyyah Course is tailored to preserve Islamic legacy, value and practice.
To generate scholars who are able to lead the Muslim community in every aspect of life in the light of Shariah and to incorporate within them the values and practices of the Messenger of Allah, peace and salutations of Allah be on him, and those of the great leaders who followed him, Allah be pleased with them, so that those shared values can be seen to survive the passage of time and be alive in our lives today.
To equip the student with the knowledge and, who is firm in his Deen, holding fast to his faith, righteous in his deeds, knows the reasons of his action and belief, so that he will not be deceived by man-made ideas nor will he be carried away with his whim and fancy. As a lifelong learner, he may choose to further enhance himself in Islamic specialization or worldly professions.
The course is conducted in classroom environment with practical application in school premises.
a) Madrasah prefers students to start their studies from:
- 18 years and above – Best
- 16 to 17 years – Just fine
- 13 to 15 years – Encouraged to start with Tahfiz course.
b) Madrasah accepts students starting from 13 years old due to the need that arises in our country and in this time of corruptions to save the Imaan of our young generations.
c) Madrasah also tries to accommodate them (with regards to their studies) by merging the ‘original required level of The Alimiyyah Course with the ‘Maktab (secondary school) Level/syllabus of studies

Duration of studies
- The complete program is an intensive 5 years course.
- The academic session is annual. (Syawal till Ramadhaan)
- Classes are Monday-Saturday
Breakdown of an annual session
- One annual session = 42 weeks of school.
- 38 weeks of classes + 4 weeks of examination = 42 weeks school.
Medium of instruction
- English is the medium of instruction to facilitate both local and international students simultaneously.
- Textbooks are more than 90% Arabic.
Course structure
- The course is of two parts; academic and practical.
- Academic activities are conducted in classes.
- Practical activities include life management skills and general conduct monitoring activities.
Academic Curriculum
- No core and electives in academic activities; all subjects are compulsory.
- Passing the final exam is required to be promoted to the next level.
- The passing marks are 60% for every subject.
